One of the most popular market places of Ahmedabad. In the evening this place turns to the destination of food lovers.

Few days back me and my wife were at Parimal garden,Ahmedabad. She was busy with her jogging and I was hunting a good spot to sit and sketch. I did this watercolour at home taking reference from my sketches at the garden.

I always enjoy cooking.Luckily, my wife also enjoys it very much. That was a rainy day, we had some vegetable and basic ingredients like flour, white oil and of course eggs. So, something clicked in our mind and we became busy for an hour and here is the result. We had a wonderful rainy evening with Egg roll.
Egg roll is a very popular and one of the most easily available street foods in West Bengal. Sometimes along with egg we put chicken or mutton stuffing.

I visited some villages of Gujarat in last year as a member of the faculty team to conduct the Environmental Perception course for the Foundation Programme of NID. Those villages are not very far from Ahmmedabad, the business capital of this state. I did some sketching in my free time. The locale was so interesting that it is very hard to restrict oneself from drawing .This series is part of  those sketches.
